Rojgar mela

There is a "Rojgar Mela" (as I call it) going on in my office, every day we have some loads of people coming down for interviews. My HR manager asked me other day to take an inteview for some candidate, an offer which I declined. Some how, it feels kind of weird to be an interviewer when I was myself interviewed some times back. So far, I have never interviewed any one, the whole idea that my descision is going to decide the persons career, freaks me out. Some how, I can never convince my self that I can be always fair and unbiased. Not that, I am baised or some thing, but some one is going to pay heavily (May be, may not be) if I make a mistake.
Some how, I dont want to be in a deciding position when my descision affects some one else.
Probably thats why I can never become a good manager, but I guess, so far thats the way it is going to be.
